Immediate Response Needed + cringy video :)
If you feel a spark inside saying “yes”, then I’m asking you to trust that, to jump in with both feet.
Hey there,
I'm reaching out with something raw and real, something that's been stirring in my heart.
I long to create a badass sisterhood right where I live, in Kansas City, MO, from the ground up as long as I can remember.
To create a safe place/safe people I needed but didn’t have.
We need safe places where we, as women, stand strong together, LEARN HOW to support each other, and heal together.
It’s about real (face to face, eye to eye) connection, real growth, and real empowerment.
But here's the real talk: to make this happen, I need you.
I don’t want to do it alone.
WE heal in community.
I love this quote: I’m not ok if your not ok.
It encapsulates “tikkun olam’ repair of the world.
Tikkun Olam is a concept in Jewish mysticism that refers to "repairing the world" or "healing the world," suggesting humanity's shared responsibility to heal, repair, and restore the world. It's often associated with social action and the pursuit of social justice.
Or how I see it ‘being a part of the repair in our little piece of earth’
We've planned an event, Misfit Table: Recipe for Resilience, aimed at starting this journey. It feels like the tip of the arrow in the heart of our country. Call me dramatic.
It's about bringing us together, guided by incredible 2 trauma counselors, in a space where we can truly be ourselves.
These two badass women are my real friends and counselors for the last five years.
Here’s the deal: the cost of making this happen is real.
We need to cover our @gaprelief aka Amy Butler and Megan Taylor, food, and the space.
The heart of our gathering is the trauma training, costing $3,500, which is our main expense.
It's as vital as oxygen.
The amazing women leading it are not only my dear friends but also the trauma counselors who've been my lifeline for the past five years.
Every ticket sold goes straight into making this event what it needs to be – no profit (none) just pure intention, faith and resilience.
But we need 30 women to make it happen.
As of today we have sold two tickets.
We also need to purchase food for our table and need time for Parker + Grace to prepare week of.
We’re also going to feed you well, family style!
If you feel called to be a part of this, could you please commit by buying a ticket?
We need to know if the table can be grounded now.
If we don’t reach our needed number soon, we'll take it as a sign that rescheduling is the right step forward. Trusting the process, always
The ticket price reflects the costs, and I want you to know every dollar is for creating a space that honors us all.
Truthfully, event spaces are to expensive so at this time we are brainstorming making my house work.
I would rather bless the life-force in us all by sharing GapRelief/Amy and Megan with you than having a pretty venue.
If your heart is pulling you towards this but money feels tight, talk to me.
Let’s work it out together.
I want this sisterhood to include everyone who feels called to it.
This is about us.
About becoming more human.
Building something beautiful, supportive, and transformative.
If you feel a spark inside saying “yes”, then I’m asking you to trust that, to jump in with both feet.
Let’s do this together. Let’s take a step toward the unknown and make a badass sisterhood a reality.
Thank you for hearing me out.
For considering stepping into this space with me.
You’re not just buying a ticket; you’re laying the foundation for something beautiful.
Reach out, okay?
Whether it's a "yes," a "maybe," or a "let's talk," I want to hear from you.
With all my heart,
Tiff
